MOUNTRAIL COUNTY NORTH DAKOTA

The Mountrail County Correctional Center is seeking FEMALE correctional officers. The positions pay $28.61-30.96/hour depending on experience. The full-time position offers excellent benefits including County-paid family health insurance, Public Safety retirement, dental, vision and life insurance.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to) overseeing inmates, keeping order within the jail, searching cells, writing reports and filling out daily logs, escorting prisoners’ movements, etc.

This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, the ability to quickly assess a situation and determine the appropriate response, the ability to monitor multiple activities and individuals, and willingness and desire to learn new and challenging tasks.
